The OneFamily Podcast
Families connected to the US Foster Care system face many challenges. Vulnerable and at-risk families need continued support to rise above their situation and raise their children in a healthy way. Foster and adoptive families also need support to help them do what God calls them to do. Relative caregivers must be supported as they step into the role of caring for their grandchildren. This support provides stability for these families who are on the frontlines.
OneFamily's mission is to engage, equip, and empower bio families, foster families, adoptive families, and relative caregivers through wholehearted community support. Because when the community supports its families, the families within that community flourish.

Episode 6 | Are You a Hero of the Faith?
Welcome back to the OneFamily Podcast! At OneFamily, we believe that when families flourish, communities flourish — and that’s why we serve families impacted by the foster care system, offering hope, healing, and restoration.
In today’s episode, we’re diving into Hebrews 11 — the “Heroes of the Faith” chapter. But this isn’t just about parting seas and toppling walls. This is about the unsung heroes too — the ones who stayed faithful even when there were no miracles, no breakthroughs, and no big wins… yet.
As a father of 10 adopted children, I know the weight of parenting when the outcomes don’t match your prayers. I’ve wrestled with guilt, shame, and doubt. But God reminded me: He doesn’t just honor the victorious — He honors the faithful.
Whether you feel like you’re walking through fire or wandering in the wilderness, this episode will encourage you to keep showing up, keep standing in the gap, and stay faithful — even when the walls don’t fall.
