The OneFamily Podcast
Families connected to the US Foster Care system face many challenges. Vulnerable and at-risk families need continued support to rise above their situation and raise their children in a healthy way. Foster and adoptive families also need support to help them do what God calls them to do. Relative caregivers must be supported as they step into the role of caring for their grandchildren. This support provides stability for these families who are on the frontlines.
OneFamily's mission is to engage, equip, and empower bio families, foster families, adoptive families, and relative caregivers through wholehearted community support. Because when the community supports its families, the families within that community flourish.

Episode 10 | Don't Be Church Hurt
In this powerful episode of the OneFamily Podcast, host Stephen Hogue sits down with Pastor Gabriel Asif, lead pastor and church planter of The Well Church in Daytona Beach, FL. Gabe shares the incredible story of leaving comfort and security behind to follow God’s call into one of the hardest and holiest assignments—planting a church. From selling his home and stepping away from a secure ministry role to launching a thriving church in a school cafeteria, his testimony is a raw and inspiring picture of radical obedience, risk, and God’s undeniable faithfulness.
You’ll hear about the supernatural favor they’ve experienced, how the presence of God is showing up week after week, and the heart behind reaching the unchurched with excellence and authenticity. This episode also dives into the importance of church community, healing from church hurt, and why now more than ever, God is accelerating His work through surrendered leaders. Whether you’re a foster or adoptive parent, a church leader, or someone on the edge of faith—this conversation will challenge and encourage you.
