The OneFamily Podcast
Families connected to the US Foster Care system face many challenges. Vulnerable and at-risk families need continued support to rise above their situation and raise their children in a healthy way. Foster and adoptive families also need support to help them do what God calls them to do. Relative caregivers must be supported as they step into the role of caring for their grandchildren. This support provides stability for these families who are on the frontlines.
OneFamily's mission is to engage, equip, and empower bio families, foster families, adoptive families, and relative caregivers through wholehearted community support. Because when the community supports its families, the families within that community flourish.

Episode 36 | From Distance to Surrender
In this powerful and deeply honest episode of the OneFamily Podcast, host Stephen Hogue sits down with longtime friend Tim McCue to talk about redemption, addiction, surrender, and what it truly means to follow Jesus closely.
Tim shares his raw testimony—from growing up in the church, running from his calling, battling alcoholism, and losing everything, to a moment of complete surrender that changed his life forever. Now five years sober, Tim reflects on how God restored his identity, healed his heart, and led him to launch a ministry in one of the most broken areas of his community—transforming a former biker bar into a life-giving ministry center.
Together, Stephen and Tim explore themes of identity vs. behavior, temporary happiness vs. lasting joy, and why many believers live “at a distance” from Christ. As we step into a new year, this conversation challenges listeners to move beyond resolutions and into full surrender—closing the gap where fear, addiction, and distraction thrive.
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, purpose, or feeling far from God, this episode is a message of hope: freedom is possible, healing is real, and God never stops chasing His children.
